Peter Bellotti, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Associate

Peter Bellotti received his B.Sc. in chemistry from the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy) under the guidance of Prof. Cesare M. A. Gennari and later obtained a M.Sc. in Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis at the Universität Regensburg (Germany), working on visible-light photocatalysis with Prof. Burkhard König. After a year in industry placement at the pRED division of Hoffmann–La Roche in Basel, working on treatments for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, he received his PhD  under the guidance of Prof. Frank Glorius (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster), conducting research on visible light photocatalysis and NHCs on surfaces. He is currently a postdoctoral associate in the Geri Lab, working on new technologies for protein interaction discovery.
